Have you ever started with great idea, implemented a painting and midway you began to question your original plan? This workshop is designed to help students find their visual voice and paint creatively in their own personal way and finish those paintings that are still waiting for completion. Watercolor and acrylics are water media based mediums and fun to work with. Expression and painting from one’s heart is encouraged and techniques are learned but not enforced. Individual attention will be given in both mediums. Deb paints in acrylics and in watercolor and is experienced in both mediums, sometimes working mixing both mediums together in one painting. All classes are designed for students to paint using their own visual voice and style. Be prepared to work on several paintings. Demonstrations, handouts and easy to learn lessons.

This popular class is designed for painters who have little or no experience in acrylics, even for beginners who have never painted at all. Experience hands-on demonstrations, handouts and artistic tips to help you become the artist you've always wanted to be.  Critiques offered only if requested.

Students will also take what they have learned and use the experience and information from this workshop to start creating beautiful, colorful, award winning paintings. A good sense of humor is a must in this class. Techniques, personal expression and painting from one’s heart is encouraged. All classes are designed for students to paint along with Deb as she explains what she is doing, why she is doing it, and how she will fix any problem areas in her paintings. Deb has over 20 years experience painting in watercolor, acrylics and oils and her studio porch is just the right place for inspiration and artistic creativity!
