This ongoing series is inspired from Scripture regarding Jesus's miracles, death and resurrection. All of these large cross paintings have a personal message of hope. Eventhough these paintings are colorful, contemporary and abstract,  I have added unique symbols and messages in each work of art which makes each one special. Each cross of hope has my testimony of hope which can be  given if requested. Just ask me.

The Story of the Cross

People often ask me why I paint the cross in such a bold, contemporary way with vivid, intense colors. 

I tell tell them this story:

When I was a child and attending church, I would look on the cross with sadness and sorrow. I only focused on suffering and death, not the Resurrection.  

But, The cross means Life. Everlasting Life. 

So, no gloomy and drab colors will ever be painted in my crosses.

I  add unique symbols and messages in each work of art which makes each one special. Each cross of hope has my very own testimony of hope which can be  given if requested. Just ask me.

To me, life equates vivid color. My feelings of joy and hope will always be artistically expressed in an array of beautiful colors with every cross I paint.
