THE BRUSHES OF AN ARTIST
Have you seen the brushes of an artist? Some artist's paint with their fingers, or their brushes are attached to sticks, some are held in the artists' mouths, some are still in the original packaging never used, and some are scattered, broken, dirty, unusable, ready for the "brush heaven in the sky."
Really, they are not that spectacular except for the fact that attached to a human heart with a passionate soul and spirit, they can do beautiful things! They can cause another person to stop in their tracks to look, revel, and ponder at a beautiful painting!
As an artist and a painter, I believe that paintings need to connect to all of us on an emotional, human level. Intellect to intellect, soul to soul, heart to heart. My intention is to try to achieve that connection with all of my art.
